Mommy & Me Claydate – Pinch Pot Class (Ages 1–4)

A perfect first pottery experience for little ones! In this playful, hands-on class, you and your child will explore the joy of clay together while making simple pinch pots. Designed for ages 1–4, this session focuses on sensory play, creativity, and connection. Children will squish, press, and shape clay with their hands, while parents guide and support the process.

No experience needed— this semi-private class is instructor led. All materials are included and provided and projects will be fired, glazed and shipped or dropped off to your door! (1-3 week turnaround time). This class is all about bonding, exploration, and making sweet memories (and a keepsake) together.

One booking includes you and baby! ($37.50 per person = $75 total)

Have an additional child (twins, kids close age)? Add on a second child for $25.00 additional. No more than 2 children per parent!

All clay, tools to be used, glaze paint, 2 firings & shipping are included in the total price.

What To Expect:

🕒 Welcome (10:45–10:50 AM)

• Arrive and get aprons on, settle in
• Little hands start with a fun clay warm-up—squish, roll, and explore textures!

🎨 Main Activity – Pinch Pots (10:50–11:20 AM)

• You and your child will create your very own pinch pots together - think matching mugs, bowls, or catchall dishes!
• Encourage exploration—press, poke, and make it yours!

🌈 Color & Decoration (11:20 - 11:30 AM)

• Pick glaze colors for your creations.
• Kids can add textures, stamps, or little designs to their pots. Remember to add your names on the bottom!

✅ Wrap-Up (11:30 - 11:45 AM)

• Your projects are collected and labelled! No need to clean up your space, our staff will clean up for you after you've left.
• After fully dry (1-3 days) Your projects will be fired (12 hours), glazed in the color of your choice and fired again (12 hours) and delivered to your door in 1–3 weeks.
• Snap a photo to remember this creative moment together!
